Rat Plague in Western part of Amsterdam

A rat plague has broken out in the New Western part of Amsterdam. The municipality has asked people in this area not to leave any garbage outside of the containers. The rats cause risks that houses might sink when their burrowed tunnels under houses collapse. The plague has been caused by the demolition of old homes in the neighborhood, therefore the rats flee into other houses, which can sink as a result.
