Police Union: Police functioned Poorly in Major Haren Riots

The Police Union ACP has opened a monitoring facility where policemen can complain about the functioning of the police at the major riots hooligans caused in the town of Haren. The chairman of the union Gerrit van de Kamp said that policemen from outside the town often did not know what they had to do and where they had to go. The information received by the monitoring facility will be shared with the official commission of inquiry into the riots which is headed by former Labor Party leader Job Cohen.
