Cost of Health Care can no Longer be Met

The Council for Health and Welfare (RVZ) has submitted a report to Minister of Health Ab Klink (Christian Democrats), which claims that, if nothing is done about the increasing cost of health care, no money will be left for education, immigration and for solving traffic problems. The RVZ says that, since those who provide services can charge the government for their services this is the main source of the problem. In addition, costs of medical treatment in the Netherlands are high compared to other countries.
