Consumers Lose More than Half a Billion Euro From Dishonest Commerce


The Consumer Authority has found that every year consumers lose about 579 million Euros due to dishonest commerce. The most widespread example, which accounts for more than 30% of this loss, comes from so-called “vacation clubs” which offer reductions on holidays, which are often disappointing or non-existing or require full payment.
