Hotline for Dutch Mayors who are Attacked

From next year mayors who are confronted with aggression and violence will be able to contact a special hotline for advice. This hotline will be available to aldermen as well. About 60% of Dutch mayors have been attacked or threatened at some time. The establishment of the hotline is a result of an agreement between Guusje ter Horst, the Minister of the Interior (Labor) and the Dutch Association of Mayors.
